About us

The Brazilian plant of NAGEL GmbH (Germany) exists since September 1974 and is located in Salto - about 100 km from São Paulo. Over the past 31 years, we have made a name for ourselves and today we stand as a reference whenever it comes to the construction of machines and tools.

At present, we have 200 highly specialized employees, trained with the technical know-how of our parent company, through a constant exchange of cutting-edge technology. The regular participation of our specialists in training courses in Italy and abroad guarantees the high quality level of our supplies, which is comparable to that of the most important manufacturers of machines and tools in the world.  According to its product line, NAGEL do Brasil Máquinas e Ferramentas Ltda. has specialized departments for the design and manufacture of deep drilling and honing tools.
Our team is able to elaborate process solutions appropriate to the workpiece, meeting the international standards of quality, safety and environment required by our customers.

Honing is a cutting process where multi-edge tools coated with particles with continuous surface contact between the tool and workpiece are used to optimise the dimension, form and surface of pre-machined workpieces. Between tool and workpiece a change in direction of the longitudinal movement takes place. The finished surfaces are characterised by a cross-hatch pattern on the surface..

Ever higher quality requirements with regard to operational reliability, durability, efficiency, quiet running and appearance require continual improvement of the manufacturing process. In this process superfinishing as the last manufacturing step has an important role to play as it defines the quality of the product. Superfinishing is characterised by the following parameters. With the TBT deep hole drilling machines the appropriate deep hole drilling tools as well as the service for sub-contract deep hole drilling, TBT is a competitive partner  - since 1966.

Burrs occur in almost all manufacturing processes. Therefore, burr-free components are required especially in the automotive and components supply industry.

KADIA has specialized in the mechanical deburring and finishing of surfaces. We develop turnkey systems for the processing of complex workpiece contours. Cost-effective – high-performing – precise.
